365 Vintage Days: 190. Black with yellow and blue stars

This dress is one of my favorite ones and also an example of fifties ” mass production”. One of my friends in Finland has exactly the same dress, and last june, at the Rockabilly Rave weekender, a vintage dealer from the US was selling the same dress! I have also seen a dress made of precisely the same fabric, but in a different design, worn by a rockin’ gal at the Greenbay R’n'R weekender in 2005.  So not really what could be called a unique piece of vintage clothing but still a great one!

I also have a yellow leather purse, with a beaded lid, yellow heels and yellow plastic jewelry.

I purchased the dress in the late 90′s at the Hemsby R’n'R weekender, the purse is from ebay a couple of years ago and I also have the matching shoes – unfortunately too big for me – and the heels are from an Antique Mall in Las Vegas, in spring 2010. The charm bracelet is from ebay and the earrings from a R’n'R weekender, in the US or the UK.
