365 Vintage Days: 301. Black and Harlequin

For today’s outfit; I have to use an older photo, simply because I have been putting on too much weight during fall and winter so the pedal pushers and blouse do not fit me anymore. Yet, I still have them and I will wear them again as soon as I get slimmer. The photo was taken in December 2008 at the Ophelia vintage fashion show for the Hellooks website (http://hel-looks.com/retro/about.html).

The oufit has been tailor made by VintagEija using vintage fabric and a vintage model, from the Lana Lobell collection. It includes black pedal pushers with harlequin details and an harlequin scarf as a belt; and a black  halterneck blouse with an harlequin collar and trims. Specially for the fashion show Eija also made a funny Harlequin pouch. I also wear black and turquoise earrings and plastic bangles and black springolators.

The springolators are from the Aqua Vintage shop in Las Vegas, the faceted plastic bangles are from Sivletto in Stockholm, the earrings from an antique mall in the US.
