365 Vintage Days: 323. Yellow and brown bubbles
Continuing with summer outfits, I have yellow shorts, with a yellow and brown top, brown wedges, purse, yellow bakelite bangles and loop earrings and a straw hat.
The top is a find from a used clothing shop in San Diego around 2000 and we call it the “laundry top” because of the funny brown bubbles. The shorts are from German friends, and purchased in September 2009 or 2010, dead stock. The wedges are a very old acquisition, dating back to the early 90′s in Paris and the purse is a rather recent purchase, from the Fasaani Antik shop in Helsinki. The yellow bakelite loop earrings are from the Cherry Pickers vintage clothing shop in San Diego, around 2000, the yellow bangle is from somewhere in the US and the yellow and brown one from the Vintage flea market at the High Rockabilly R’n’R weekender last September. The straw hat is my husband’s and purchased from Cuba in spring 2008.

Your collection is amazing and I am so jealous! I wish I had enough wearable vintage for a quarter of the days! Gorgeous collection! And thank you for caring for, loving and preserving these treasures. I found your blog today while searching for pedal pushers for my neice. I had to go backwards to see every little treasure.
Thanks!
And there are so many vintage treasures to preserve and care for in the world that we all have to do our part… gals and guys!
