365 Vintage Days: 329. Harlequin shorts

It’s getting colder and colder in Finland so let’s continue with shorts and summery outfits. Tonight I picked up my harlequin shorts, in white, pinks, orange and black, together with a white tee-shirt top, pink ballerinas and purse, a pink plastic charm bracelet and earrings.

I purchased these shorts around 2006 or 2007 from a vintage dealer at a R’n'R weekender, probably in the UK. The top -  French made –  is from Tamara and Cyril’s vintage stall, purchased in the late 90′s at the Hemsby R’n'R weekender. The ballerinas  – German made – are also from a vintage dealer at a R’n'R weekender in the UK, this time from Martin, of Berlin. The purse is from an internet shop specialising in vintage handbags. The plastic earrings and the charm bracelet are old finds and I could say from where.

365 Vintage Days

365 vintage days is a bet and a challenge. I am going to try wearing a different outfit every day for 365 days and have you witnessing the challenge. The writer has been buying and wearing 50’s clothing and accessories – most of it casual - for more than twenty years and continues to do so.
