365 Vintage Days: 345. A blue coat and a black hat

I had a blue long winter coat, with black ankle boots, purse, gloves, bakelite loop earrings and a black and white wool hat. Under the coat I had my blue and black wrap around skirt (presented early April 2011, in the blog post number 37), with a blue sweater.

This blue coat, made in Berlin,  is among my old ones, purchased some twenty years ago while I was still living in Paris. For many years it was my everyday coat but then I purchased other coats and have not used this one very often anymore. The hat is a more recent purchase, from the California last spring. The ankle boots are from Nasta’s vintage shop in Helsinki, bought in the late 90′s and originally cream coloured: I had them dyed in black by the shoemaker. The purse and the earrings are from the US. The gloves are modern ones
