365 Vintage Days: 356. In a musical mood

Tonight I have a simple cotton summer dress, with a nice novelty print of music instruments, trumpets, guitars, saxophones, drums… in blue, baby blue and yellow. With this dress I chose to wear a blue leather  belt, sling back heels, leather purse, and yellow rose shapped earrings and charm bracelet.

I purchased this dress from ebay Australia in the mid 2000′s, the purse is from an antique mall in Carlisle Pennsylvania in 2005, the heels are from Tamar and Cyril’s vintage stall at the High Rockabilly last September and the charm bracelet from ebay. The belt is from ebay, purchased last fall.

365 Vintage Days

365 vintage days is a bet and a challenge. I am going to try wearing a different outfit every day for 365 days and have you witnessing the challenge. The writer has been buying and wearing 50’s clothing and accessories – most of it casual - for more than twenty years and continues to do so.

What a fun dress. Love the cut, the colors and the charming pattern it suits you very well.
I have one very similar hanging in the wardrobe waiting for spring and a bit leaner me.
May I suggest something to you…why not have your readers vote for your top ten best outfits? I guess it would be easier for us if you made an overwiew of all the 365 outfits in some way or categorise them for a quick look…

Thanks for your suggestion, I have to think about it but I am not sure it would work: in those 365 outfits there are many different styles and getting a top ten may be quite difficult, people have different taste. But why not give it a try. What would be your top ten?
