Hamina’s own american car club, the ”Hamina Street Cars” celebrated its 25th birthday and organised a Car Show at the Hamina Bastion. Our car was invited to the show and hence we spent a nice weekend in Hamina.
The show had more than 60 carefully selected classic and custom cars and bikes and was held at the Bastion, with is a covered outdoor area. And this was really a good thing because it rained almost all day.
After the car show, we spent the evening at one of our friend’s place, took a ride in his 1938 Cadillac Business Coupé and then headed to the city center to meet more friends.
Then we spent the night at the Karhula Manor, a few kilometers away.
I was wearing turquoise high waisted capris, with a calypso print white blouse, turquoise and black bangles and earrings, a black purse and ballerinas. As a back-drop for the pictures, I chose one of our friend’s 1959 Ford Fairlane 500, in turquoise and white.
I bought the capris from my friend Chatja early July, the blouse is from Sneaky Tiki, last September, the black box purse is from an Antique Mall in Milwaukee last August, the black bakelite bangle is from the Long Beach Flea Market, the turquoise ones (plastic) are from Sivletto. The black and turquoise earrings are from an antique mall in California.
