Like Chatja, I love felt skirts and I have quite a few of them, some more casual and some more festive. For Christmas I often wear a felt skirt and I have a special Christmas one, which I presented last year in this blog.
This year, I picked up a new acquisition: a felt skirt and matching woolen top set, black with geometrical gold decorations and multicolored rhinestones. The top and skirt are labelled ”Jack Bryan of California”. To continue with the gold and black theme, I had a gold and black costume jewelry set, with metal leaves, gold and black suede purse and wedges and a gold tone leather belt with rhinestones.
The pictures are taken in front of our Christmas tree, with vintage decorations (some probably dating back to the 30’s) and a vintage painted metal tree stand, from 1957. There’s also a Santa Claus Vintage lamp and a vintage shop flag inviting customers for Christmas shopping (in Finnish).
I purchased the felt skirt and top set late November at the Rhythm Riot R’n’R weekender, from John Day’s vintage stall. The purse and the jewelry set are from Antique Malls in Portland (last spring), the belt and wedges are from etsy (this fall).
The Christmas decorations are from flea markets and antiques malls in the US, France and Finland and purchased over the years. The tree stand, in its original box, is a find from an antique mall in downtown Manitowoc (Wisconsin) this summer.
Très joli! Il me semble reconnaitre certaines boules…
