In Finland, Christmas holidays include the 26th of December. On that evening, we drove back home, via Hamina, in the south east Finland. Hamina is a nice city, with the shape of a circle and streets running around the central place, where the town house is located. It’s a really fascinating place and we stopped for an evening stroll and a couple of pictures.
It was rather cold (- 10 C) but I was wearing a warm vintage hand knit sweater, red mittens, jeans and warm winter booths, with faux fur inside, so I felt comfortable.

It was fun to stroll around the town house, with its giant Christmas trees, and then closer to the church, with nobody in the streets, nice lights and snow. A pity it was too cold to make any decent snow ball…

The sweater is a recent find from a flea market in Lahti, the deadstock blue and grey winter boots (originally a model for boys) are from VintagEija’s and the purse is a old purchase (2003) from an antique mall in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
