365 Vintage Days: Morning in Forssa

On Sunday morning we woke up early and after breakfast got ready for the Forssa Pick Nick. While waiting for our friends in their 1960 De Soto, we shot a couple of pictures of the day’s outfit, with a 1957 Lincoln Premiere Convertible in the background.

I was wearing a black skirt, with red, yellow and green lantern patterns, a red belt and purse (same as the day before as I had decided to travel light), a yellow blouse, red wedges, red bakelite loop earrings, red, green and yellow bakelite bangles and a straw hat with a red trim. One funny thing with this skirt is that in June I saw in a vintage shop in Berlin (Spitze) the same skirt but in different colours (and not my size).

I bought the skirt from the Liisa Larssen vintage shop on Bondegatan in Stockholm earlier this year, the blouse (deadstock) is from the Shazam vintage stall at the Rockabilly Rave in June 2012. The hat is from the vintage stall of Alles Gut at the Kangasala swap meet mid July.
