365 Vintage Days: Peacock bathrobe

I like to wear vintage at any time of the day or night so I also needed a vintage bathrobe. I already had one simple vintage robe , in green satin with white polka dots but quite worn already.

Comfortable and stylish outfit for the morning, to wear while getting ready for work, brushing my hair in shape after removing the rolls and making up. The robe is not in perfect condition but it still has its belt and I just love the details on it.

Oh so lovely. There’s a history in the U.S., I think if I’m not mistaken in Louisiana, back in the 40′s where woman would make these beautiful peacock bead spreads. They were so brightly colored. Reminds me of your robe. Love your green bathroom also, matches your robe perfectly!
