365 Vintage Days: Rhythm Riot, Saturday night

After the early 40’s dress worn on Saturday afternoon, I changed into an early fifties one for the evening.

This dress is made of linen-like rayon, navy blue with fuschia (the first pic does not give the real color) and cream collar, rhinestones and gold tone embroideries. Comfortable and stylish.

I also had fuschia heels and belt, a navy blue purse and gold tone loop earrings and charm bracelet.

I purchased this dress late August from the Riverview Antique Market in Milwaukee, an antique mall with a great vintage clothing section. The Finnish made heels are from VintagEija’s, bought deadstock in the box. The belt is a recent purchase from ”Play It Again Sam” vintage shop in Helsinki, also deadstock. The earrings are Trifari’s and purchased years ago from the US. The charm bracelet is either from ebay or etsy.

I got the navy blue leather and suede box purse from the ”Apparel from the past” vintage shop in Baroda, Michigan. A great vintage shop, well worth the drive in the countryside (http://www.apparelfromthepast.com/). I would have never found it without the hint given by my friend Laurence and by the owner of the Night and Day vintage shop in Chicago, so thanks Ladies!
