365 Vintage Days: Two different rides

Like most of my Fintage friends, I spent a great day at the Suvi (=summer) vintage event organised during the last weekend of June in Tampere. My shopping was pretty limited but I very much enjoyed seeing and chatting with friends. As it was cloudy and likely to rain I decided to wear jeans and bright colours (to counterbalance the grey sky).

This was also the day to take a ride at the Carrousel – I picked up the horse with the best smile.


I was also eager to wear – for the first time – my deadstock orange blue jeans, purchased last April from Boss of Denver, at the Viva Las Vegas weekender (yes, we removed the label before use… just had to have a pic of it in place).
And with orange jeans, I decided for a multicolour sleeveless stripe blouse (vintage from Freddies of Pinewood, purchased years ago at the Rockabilly Rave), white ballerinas (dead stock from etsy) and white unusual Enid Collins purse (also dead stock, from the Alameda antique market) and a turquoise angora sweater (also from Boss of Denver).

The ride back home was in our 58-Plymouth Belvedere.

365 Vintage Days

365 vintage days was a bet and a challenge. From March 2011 to March 2012, during 365 days, I published every day a new post with a different vintage outfit and had you witnessing the challenge.
