Fintage Fashion Show: Daisies
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to purchase some of my finest vintage clothing from a friend. They were mainly dresses, 1930’s and 40’s, all originally from the same estate and all in my size. This was a very rare treat because particularly 1930’s and older vintage is becoming more and more difficult to find. One ought to believe all the clothes I bought belonged to the same person. She must have loved her wardrobe since all of the items had been kept well and some were in impeccable condition. I shall now continue taking good care of them.
Here is a little summer greeting to you all with one of the dresses. This late 1930’s blue summer dress has to be the cutest one I own. It has plenty of daisies, ruching on shoulders and under the bust, round wooden buttons and a double collar for that extra charm.
I matched the red details on the dress with my red 1950’s suede shoes, a flea market find a couple of years ago. Certainly not the most appropriate pair with the dress, but cute nevertheless. The navy blue handbag is from eBay.

The whole outfit is too cute! <3
I love the dress, and may I say, you have the most amazing hair!
Why, thank you so much Garofit! I must say, I love your blog!
