Because I buy a lot of clothes from the internet, people often ask if I make lot of misses, when I can’t see the items in reality and try them on. The answer is almost always no, since I seldom make wrong decision.

The shopping luck is not always with me, and there are times when I have to be disappointed anyway. Today’s knit suit is an example of such case. I bought it a some time ago from internet and according to seller’s pictures, the color of the suit was bright pink. When receiving it became to be of completely different colour.

This colour was absolutely wonderful, but I have already similar colour knit suit! I presented it in my first Fintage Fashion Show posting. Since I am not good giving up on my new buys, I have not nerve to pass it along.

My lucite purse is labelled “Florida Handbags”. I love the flying shapes of it. I also have white springolators and earrings and bracelet set by Coro.

I really like this kind of knit suits and buy them whenever they become available. I like them so much, that I bought a pile of 50’s fashion pics only about these suits. My sister-in-law had seen the pictures for sale in old bookstore of small country village and winked right away to me about them, thanks Mirkku.

Today I am wearing a black velvet mexican full skirt with a black velvet top which has zig-zag neckline. I’ve been looking for silver colored, hand painted and sequined mexican skirt for a long time, so I was really happy when I found it at last.

My silver metal weave purse is labelled “Dorset Rex”. It has a lucite handle and gray acrylic marble base and lid. My silver colored strap sandals are a flea market find. I also have charm bracelet and soft plastic earrings, deadstock, by Florida Fashion.

This time I am wearing Lilli Ann labelled silver lamé dress, which I found few years ago from Nasta. When I bought this dress it remained for long as only one of other dresses in my closet. When some time ago I was selecting a dress for my graduation party, this came up as flash in my mind. After that this has been a very dear for me, because it always brings in my memory that unforgettable day.

The outfit that I am wearing now is not the same as on that day, because I wanted to wear few new items (for me) that I had had never on before.

For gloves I had selected a sparkling silver colour ones. The grey-silver Lucite purse I received as a souvenir from my sister when she had visited Toronto. She found it from Cabaret Vintage boutique on Queens St. West. Because she remembered that I had been looking for this kind Lucite purse, she bought it right away for me. The earrings are rhinestone decorated double ball items on chains and my shoes are Lucite Springolator heels.

Here is the outfit of my graduation day. Other graduates were all male so I wanted to select very simple outfit. This outfit also was pure vintage. Silver coloured shoes are flea market find and purse of matching colour is from VintagEija’s. Aurora borealis faceted crystal earrings are from Nasta.

Today I am wearing a black felt skirt, which has pink, light blue and white satin stripes. Besides that I wear a pink cardigan, which has two cute bows, and huge size feather earrings, which are of matching colour with the cardigan.

On my feet I have light blue high heels with pearl decorations. With these I have a box purse by Suki Originals. The lid is of white Lucite, which has roses and hand painted leaves.

Today I have selected to wear one of my favorite colours, pink! I have a warm, light pink knit dress, in which a sweater and a matching skirt. Sweater has a cute Peter Pan collar with angora trim.

I have a lot of vintage hats but I am lazy to use them. Anyway, today my outfit includes hat and gloves too! This is the very first time I am wearing this straw hat. I found it a few years ago from my favourite vintage shop, called Nasta in Helsinki.

The shoes and purse are pink of course! For purse I have selected a triangle shape box purse and on my feet I have high heels, which are made of leather and clear plastic.

For jewellery, I have chosen a pink & white Lucite shell clamper bracelet and earrings set.

In addition to that I have light pink eyeglasses which I purchased couple years ago from Optiikkahuone in Helsinki (they have lot of vintage frames in their stock).

We spent a beautiful Saturday at surrounding of Saimaa Canal, the most important waterway passage in Finland. I am especially interested about old canal structures, by which we took couple pics of my daily outfit.

I was wearing one of my first ever vintage cardigans. I found it years ago from my home town flea market and I have liked it ever since.

The full circle skirt which has a gold coloured embroidery is comfortable warm and goes well in the cooling autumn weather.

Besides that my outfit includes a gold colour purse which has a light lucite lid and light mules. The light coloured earrings and necklace by Coro.
